Welcome to Prof. Jiwu Shu's Storage Research Group!
Jiwu Shu is a professor, doctoral advisor at Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, a Changjiang scholar (recognized by the Ministry of Education) and a recipient of National Distinguished Young Scholar Funds.
He is deputy director of the Information Storage Technology Technical Committee of the China Computer Federation, deputy director of National Engineering Laboratory for Disaster Backup and Recovery, member of the academic committee at School of Information Science and Technology of Tsinghua University. He has also been technical program commmittee member or chair of various international and domestic conferences.
He is an award recipient of 2nd class National Science and Technology Progress Prize and 2nd class State Technological Invention Prize.
His major research interests are in network/cloud/big data storage systems, non-volatile memory systems and technologies, storage reliability and security, parallel/distributed processing, etc..
The research results of the Storage Research Group have produced around a hundred publications on international conferences like FAST, USENIX ATC, EuroSys, MICRO, ISCA, DSN, IPDPS, MSST, DAC, etc. as well as authoritative journals including IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, ACM TOS, etc..
